Barry & Leah King

Pictured at the entry to their So7 Townhouse are Barry and Leah King. They say they love living in the Museum District and all it has to offer, but their favorite thing that Fort Worth had to offer them was each other, where they met more than fifteen years ago. After over 25 years in the advertising industry, Barry and his brother formed their own gourmet sauce company, Brothers Sauces. Leah is the Senior Director of Public Affairs for Chesapeake Energy in Fort Worth working on local municipal issues. She serves on several area non-profit boards of directors including The Child Study Center Foundation, Communities In Schools, North Texas Clean Air Coalition and Circle Theater. Brothers Sauces has three gourmet BBQ/grilling sauces sold at Central Market, Market Street, Whole Foods and Roy Pope stores as well as on the company’s online website. The King Brothers just launched their great, great grandmother’s dessert sauce from a recipe she created in 1895-Granny Georgia's Brown Suga Dessert Sauce. Barry was recently elected as a new board member to the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce. The King's are members of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Arlington.
