In 1999 Mark founded the Caffey Group, located in Fort Worth, which specializes in the development of oil and natural gas in urban settings. Mark started the "Just say NO to drugs” program for Speer Elementary School in Arlington, Texas. He supports local charities such as the North Texas Cancer Society, Cooks Children's Hospital, Birdville Education Foundation and the Arlington Museum of Art. Mark is a past chairman of the Mid-Cities March of Dimes, Walk America and currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Vernon Wells Perfect 10 Foundation and the Board of Directors for the Arlington Boys & Girls Club. As a child, Mark attended the Boys & Girls Club of Arlington for after-school and summer activities. The Boys & Girls Club is a Non-Profit organization that provides programs and services to help youth achieve their full potential. “This is where I learned respect and how to be a team player. The club was everything to me,” says Mark. Embraced by a need to give back, Mark and his family continue to contribute to the community.
